Community Support Team Leader

30 hours per week

£19,500 (full time equivalent 37 hours £24,050 p.a.)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring Team Leader to develop and implement our new Community Support Worker Service. This is a new role will:

1. Be instrumental in setting up our new high quality, specialist service providing Community Support Workers for adults affected by acquired brain injury; and
2. Supervise and monitor the delivery of this new service once operational.

You will ensure that client needs and the risks associated with the services provided are properly assessed, documented and acted upon. Your team will promote the independence, dignity, rights and choices of the people that we work with through a rehabilitative approach. You will be required to provide high quality field support, supervision, leadership and training to Community Support Workers.

With previous experience in supervising community based services, ideally you will have experience of supporting people with acquired brain injury. As a minimum you will hold an NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience).

You will be empathetic with excellent organisational skills and your understanding of the market should be well informed and current. You will demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of good customer service, effective supervisory skills and continuing personal development.

Due to the nature of the role you will hold a Full UK/EU Driving Licence and have access to a car.
