Shelley’s “Walk with the Baron”

In our last Newsletter we highlighted that on Sunday 1st July Shelley was to raise funds for our work by “Walking with the Baron” at Walsall Arboretum. Shelley set herself a target of raising £250.00.

Not only did she and her support team (Karen and Tracey) achieved their target distance (which is amazing in itself) but Shelley also raised a stunning grand total of £706 in sponsorship!

Shelley has said: ”this was a great opportunity for me to help raise awareness of and raise funds for the work of Headway Black Country. I feel like I am blessed with my Headway Angels. They have helped and supported me in every way and developed my skills, lifted my spirits, inspired and encouraged me to realise that life can still be worth living.”

We are delighted in Shelley’s achievement and grateful for her support.
